We have listed below the whole process of the purchase & the delivery
• Online Shopping Cart Purchase & Secure Payment
Once you add the products to the online shopping cart, you can go ahead to the Checkout page. You have to provide the Billing address and the Shipping address on this page and continue to make the payment. You could chose one of the two secure payment methods available, which are Paypal by 2Checkout.com or Card Payment method by Onepay.com (Acceps VISA, Master Card, Amex ..etc). Only secure Payment processing methods are being used by our website.
• Payment Acknowledgment Invoice
Once the payment has been made successfully, you might receive an email from the Payment processor regarding the payment acceptance. After that we would review your order details from our end and we would send you a confirmation email soon with an Invoice to acknowledge the order. Please contact us, if you do not hear from us within 24 hours after the payment.
• Product Sourcing on Demand from Manufacturer
Upon payment confirmation, we would request the ordered product from our manufacturer. Depending on product availability, it would take 1 to 3 business days to receive the product from the manufacturer. In most occasions we source most of the tea grades within 3 business days from the purchase date. But White tea grades and Green tea grades take a little longer to source/manufacture. In the rainy season, it takes a little longer time to process White teas.
• Safer Food-Grade Packaging & Labeling
We use resealable Food-grade bags, which can be used to keep products air tight and preserve it’s qualities even after using some tea off them. Packaging comes labeled with the Grade name, Manufactured date and the Expiry date.
• Protective Shipping Arrangement to Avoid Damage on Transit
We use envelopes with bubble wrap or cardboard boxes to avoid any damage while on transit, because leafy grade teas tend to break at times. Also for larger quantity orders with White tea grades we mostly use cardboard boxes or Food-grade airtight plastic boxes, as those teas are very fragile.
• Dispatch with Shipping Services with Tracking
We use an Economical Airmail service called Sri Lanka Post to ship our Free Shipping orders. This shipping method usually reaches most destinations within 10 to 20 business days, from the day the item was dispatched. For Express Shipping, we use EMS, Aramex and UPS shipping services, which deliver to most destinations within 3 to 10 business days. Above mentioned delivery times could differ if there was some delay at the destination country due to customs procedures or some unavoidable situation faced by the shipping services. Upon shipping orders, we would provide a tracking code which could be used to get delivery updates. In some instances we have noticed that, our Free Shipping (Sri Lanka Post) tracking service does not function for some countries. We would always recommend using Express Shipping methods.
