We have listed below the whole process of the purchase & the delivery
• Online Shopping Cart Purchase & Secure Payment
Once you add the products to the online shopping cart, you can go ahead to the Checkout page. You have to provide the Billing address and the Shipping address on this page and continue to make the payment. You could chose one of the two secure payment methods available, which are Paypal & 2Checkout. 2Checkout payment gateway is the option, if you prefer to pay with a Credit or a Debit card or you can use Paypal.
• Invoice for Payment Acknowledgment
Once the payment has been made successfully, we would review your order details from our end and we will send you a confirmation email with an invoice within few hours, acknowledging the order. Please contact us, if you do not hear from us within 24 hours after the payment.
• Product Sourcing on Demand from Manufacturer
Upon payment confirmation, we would request the ordered product from our manufacturer. Depending on product availability, it would take 2 to 4 business days to receive the product from the manufacturer. In most occasions we source most of the tea grades within 3 business days from the purchase date. But White tea grades and Green tea grades take a little longer to source/manufacture, because they are a bit rare.
• Safer Food-Grade Packaging & Labeling
We use resealable transparent Food-grade zip-lock bags, which can be used to keep products air tight and preserve it’s qualities even after using some tea off it. It comes labeled with the Grade name, Manufactured date and the Expiry date.
• Protective Shipping Arrangement to Avoid Damage on Transit
We use envelopes with bubble wrap to avoid any damage while on transit, because leafy grade teas tend to break at times. Also for White tea grades we mostly use cardboard boxes, as those teas are vey fragile.
• Dispatch with Faster Airmail with Tracking
We use Sri Lanka Post Registered Airmail to ship our orders. This shipping method usually reaches most destinations within 14 days, from the day the item was dispatched. Unless there was some delay at the destination country due to customs procedures or some delay in the process. Upon shipping the order, we would provide a tracking code which could be used to get delivery updates from this url.
• SPECIAL NOTICE DUE TO COVID-19 CRISIS:
Due to the Covid-19 crisis, please expect severe delays with order processing & delivery unlike the time taken usually. We are experiencing delivery times upto 30 to 60 days to some destinations. In some destinations delays are caused due to limited flights between destinations and in some destinations delays were caused due to delays with customs clearance processes.
Also due to limitations with shipping services, we are only shipping to a limited number of countries which are listed below:
