This is very fine tea for true aficionados.

OPA tea; A touch sweeter than the OP1, with nice large leaves. However, my brewing parameters (4 g of 300mL water at 200F for 4 minutes) needed to be nudged up a bit, as it was a little weak with my current parameters. At my next session I increased the tea to 4.2 g, and the temp to boiling, keeping the time at barely over 4 minutes. This improved it a lot.

Overall, I found this tea similar to Akbar Royal Gold OPA, probably my favorite Ceylon tea available on Amazon.

Have not yet tried to taste this tea, I'm confident it will also taste great.

The quality and taste of the golden tips are excellent. Processing and shipping of the order took about six weeks.
Being charged with an additional costume fee was a disappointment.

Delicious! I'm no tea expert, but I drink it regularly. The flavor never gets old, making it perfect for everyday consumption. It's great any way you have it - with milk, straight, or as masala chai.

Late in 2019, I purchased 200 gm. I had wondered about making an international purchase (I live in Wisconsin, USA) and it took a while for the tea to arrive but this tea was so very delicious with a very intense flavor.

Still wary of making an international purchase, when I finished all the tea I shopped for black tea, in the USA, from several reputable online stores. None of the teas compared to the OPA I had bought here.

So I have returned and highly recommend this tea! 🙂

Absolutely wonderful,
Exceptional body and mouth-feel, beautiful dark ember color. The taste trends more towards fresh and vegetal than earthy caramel notes. So overall very good FBOPF Sp.

If you like your tea fresh from the source, The Ceylon Tea are the place to go. Shipping can take a little while to the UK but its worth the wait. I have bought all my tea exclusively from these guys for more than 4 years now, and the quality and flavour is consistently excellent.
