Tippy

Ceylon Tippy Tea grades that are of smaller in size and consist of reasonable amount of tips. Tips are made of young buds and shoots that are plucked off tea bushes by hand. Whenever a tea has more tips, it would have more flavor to it. Most of these tea grades have a unique malty flavor to them with slight woody notes, which could be discretely identified by seasoned tea tasters. Due to being flavor rich, these grades could be tasted without adding milk or sugar or any other ingredient. Also Tippy teas consist of higher caffeine and have a unique forest like aroma to them. Generally these teas are priced slightly higher compared to others tea grades due to the high demand.
